Transaction and Register Balance are Off

I am on Windows Quicken Deluxe. For the last 6 months or more, my balances in my Joint Checking account have been off in my Quicken. I finally started looking into it and have determined that the balance in the Ending Balance, Online Balance, and SideBar balance are all correct.

The register balance and the Transaction balance show $145.40 more than the other balances. I have no unreconciled transactions and no pending transactions. I have tried Validate and SuperValidate and no change.

When I reconcile my account each month, everything reconciles correctly but clearly I have $145.40 worth of transactions hiding somewhere in the register that haven't been deducted from the total but are showing in the total.

    A possibility is that the Opening Balance is incorrect. If you are able to compare that against your online checking account, you can correct it. And once you do, also write down the correct opening balance in the memo field of the opening balance transaction. Do this for all of your accounts.

    Is it possible that the incorrect balance includes future transactions? Or, could it be that the register is not sorted properly? Please check to see if you have a small arrow in the Date column.
