The graphic is from my taxable brokerage account, which has "Show cash in a checking account" turned on, thus there should be no cash in the brokerage account and the action should be a DivX, like the ones above it.

In my wife's taxable account, also using "Show Cash …" a Div was downloaded that added cash to the account that should be transferred to the LCA.

Fidelity doesn't/can't know about the "Show cash … "option, so this must be a Q error.

I have two Fidelity brokerage accounts with "Show cash in a checking account" turned on. Both use SPAXX for the cash balance. Here is what I experienced this morning with the month end dividend reinvestment transactions for both of these accounts.

    • The dividend reinvestment transaction downloaded into the brokerage account as a DivX transaction. The “transfer account” was correctly identified as the linked checking account. (see screenshot)
    • The brokerage account looked fine.
    • The dividend amount never showed up in the linked checking account.

It took several steps to fix this:

    • I edited the transaction in the brokerage account. I made no changes and I clicked on the “Enter/Done” button. The brokerage account still looked fine.
    • I went back to the linked cash account. The dividend transaction was now showing in the linked checking account. But it was identified as not cleared.
    • I attempted to manually clear the transaction. Quicken told me I had to make the change in the brokerage account.
    • I went back to the brokerage account. I uncleared the transaction and saved it. I then cleared the transaction.
    • I then went back to the linked checking account and everything looked fine.

The BAD news is this situation had worked automatically for me with EWC+ on R64.30. The GOOD news, is the current release has fixed many of my other remaining issues. I need to see what happens on the Dec 2 download to see if all of my other remaining issues are working.
