Duplicate Bill and Income Reminders
[Removed-Beta]
I have had duplicate bill and income reminders showing up for a month or more. I will have two entries in the accounts when I have set up automatic account entry. I have checked the Bill and Income Reminders register, and everything appears to be set up correctly (I only infrequently make changes in these and some have been working correctly for years.)
I didn't find anyone else having this exact problem searching the forums, so posting this here looking for some help to resolve. Thanks! Mark

Thank you for sharing what you are experiencing with us.
I would have some ideas of things we can try/look into, but given that you are running a Beta version of Quicken, please repost this in the Beta section of the Community.
There is a whole team that handles everything Beta, and they will be better suited to assist with this.

Thanks, Quicken Alyssa ! I'm guessing I must have opted in to beta testing at some time in the past. I think it would be wise to undo that selection (if I can find it :). I will post the issue in the Beta section, as you suggested. Thanks again! -Mark

I've been getting a few duplicate entries as well, and some memorized payees going wonky too. I catch them now, but it's a pain to do.

- How long have you been noticing these issues?
- Do you use Quicken Mobile & Web?
- Where is your data file located?
- Is your file being synced by any third-party services like Carbonite, OneDrive, or Norton?

Over the last couple of months I have had three bill reminders I wanted to delete. It took weeks to get rid of the first two and I am not sure the things I did fixed it or if Quicken updates might have. Yesterday I started trying to delete the third and the same pattern. Delete and shows deleted. Update transactions and the reminder comes back. Try a different way to delete, update transactions and it's back. I use Quicken Classic on Windows. Not in the beta. I started using Quicken 36 years ago this month and feel like I have been an unofficial beta tester who gets to pay for the privilege the whole time. I'm done troubleshooting this one. Good luck to anyone else who gets to enjoy it.

I've had this same issue of reminders either disappearing, or being duplicated. Secondarily, I have a couple of credit cards that have had name changes (banks nuying them for other banks). WHen I pay them, the old name is used in the register. And I'll add one ore issue. Transactions entered in Classic on my PC are not being recognized on the Mobile app on my tablet. I now have 90+ transactions just hanging about!

Thank you both for adding to this discussion.
It sounds like both of you may be experiencing issues related to the Quicken cloud sync. Can I have you both Reset the Quicken Cloud and let me know if the issues you are seeing continue after you have done that?
I apologize that you have been having this issue for so long, and it's completely understandable if you no longer want to troubleshoot it.

Do you have any of these issues currently present in your file? no more, and I think it may have been related to a bank having other issues, already being addressed here.
How long have you been noticing these issues? about as long as that bank was having issues
Do you use Quicken Mobile & Web? neither
