File Opens with Correct Data THEN Corrupts

A somewhat unusual situation….. My data file opens with the correct amounts in each account then, as I watch, the amounts in various accounts changes! I tried restoring from a back up file but the same thing happened.

Anyone else had this problem/have a solution?

Thanks

    Hello @Smokeyham,

Thank you for reporting the issue you are having.

I have some follow-up questions for you.

    • How long has this issue been happening?
    • Were there any changes that occurred at the same time this issue surfaced?
      • Quicken updates, Windows updates, etc.
    • Where is your data file located?
    • Is your file being synced/backed up by any third-party services like OneDrive, Dropbox, or Norton?

    Looking forward to your response.

I telephoned Quicken support because the Help/About Quicken menu showed my subscription as being expired, when I had paid it. They had me sign out/back in again (Edit/Preferences/Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts/Sign In as Different User). Signing out and back in seems to have solved the problem.

Glad to hear it is resolved now. BTW, for future reference, Quicken has now added a little easier path for this: Help > Manage Your Subscription > Sign in as a different user.
