6 months of automatic monthly VTI purchases have resulted in a small rounding error in shares held

I am wondering if anyone can cite a post with a good means of correcting the share balance when this happens or suggest one now. I checked on this forum a couple of different ways but did not find a relevant solution-I am guessing that I should make a placeholder transaction to adjust the Quicken share balance to the Vanguard share balance but I am not sure how to come up with a price for the .0001 shares needed-or should I be doing something altogether different?

Many thanks for your suggestions/ideas/etc.

DON'T do a placeholder, as that will screw-up everything thereafter re: that security.

Instead, take a backup and then do a Shares Removed for the entire holding (as shown) and a Shares Added for the correct/rounded quantity.

If you don't like the results, you can always Restore to get back to where you are now.
