One Step Update runs forever - Why?

Today, Quicken decides to mess with my day. It has been running fine for a few months now it won't finish OSU.

First time I logged in today, to start OSU, there was a window that popped up, couldn't get a screenshot, but said something about having the file(s) on two different computers. I don't understand that, I only have quicken on my desktop computer, Why this message. Well, it ran for 20-25 minutes, the OSU window went away but the app was froze.

Second time, ran for 15 minutes, got nowhere so I ended it through Task Manager.

Third time, same as the second.

So, I logged in without running OSU and was going to look for my backup but Quicken decided with a previous update to turn it off, Thank you Quicken.

I'm sure this doesn't happen to anyone else but me.

I don't expect an answer because there isn't one.

Thanks again, Quicken.

It sounds like a corrupt data file. What happens if you create a new test file, enter an online account, and try OSU?

    Hello @Greg Semple,

Thanks for the update, and I’m glad to hear One Step Update was able to complete after turning off Mobile & Web sync.

Just to double-check—are you okay with keeping Mobile and Web sync turned off going forward? When that setting is disabled, Quicken Mobile and Quicken on the Web won’t be able to access or sync your data, so I want to make sure that won’t impact how you prefer to use Quicken.

    Let us know!
