I'm considering migrating from Quicken Classic to Quicken on the Web. I talked with a customer rep who told me there's no way to import the QIF file into the Web version. You have to start over with a fresh data file. Apparently that means setting up every account from scratch. There's gotta be a better way.

    Hello @BillS937,

Thank you for reaching out! Quicken on the Web is not a stand alone application; it is a companion app for Quicken Classic. For more information about Quicken on the Web, please review this article: https://www.quicken.com/support/quicken-web-frequently-asked-questions/

When you say you're thinking of migrating to it, do you mean you're thinking of migrating from Quicken Classic to Quicken Simplifi? If that is what you mean, then what Support told you is correct.

Currently, there is no seamless way to migrate data from Quicken Classic to Quicken Simplifi. There is an Idea on the Quicken Simplifi Community, that is asking for that functionality to be added: https://community.simplifimoney.com/discussion/3390/data-transfer-from-quicken/p1?new=1

    I hope this helps!
