Direct Connect download from Edward Jones that contains a new security causes Quicken to stop with an undisclosed error (stopped working) when Quicken is directed to create the new security.

This failed twice using R65.17.

Re-installed the R64.30 release patch and security was created successfully.

Not looking for a solution, just reporting an issue with R65.17.

FWIW, using R65.17 I downloaded a new bond from Vanguard this morning.

It proceeded as expected with the pop-up window asking if it was an existing holding or a new holding. I chose No, it was a new holding, and the holding was added to the Security List.

There was a new Windows update that came thru last night, maybe it caused it, but without doing a reboot, the R64.30 patch worked.

I'll have another new security in about a week, so I'll reapply the R65.17 patch then, do a reboot (for grins) and see if it recurs.
