I have several brokerage accounts that sync between Quicken Classic and Quicken web just fine but I have 2 accounts, both with Fidelity Investments, that have incorrect share balances. On one account there are 120 shares of a mutual fund in Quicken web that I have never held in that account. On the other account, there are over 7000 extra shares on Quicken web on the same mutual fund. There are only 2 transaction for that mutual fund in the second account — one for the initial purchase and another for a reinvested distribution for 17 shares. I have had problems with this second account before where it was basically doubling up the share balances. I stopped using Quicken for Web because it was sort of useless if it does not reflect actual balances. I decided to set it up again and apparently there is still a problem.
In the past (probably 5+ years ago), I've tried resetting the account's online service, deativating and setting up the online services again and also removing the account from the web sync and setting up the sync again but none of them have worked. Can anyone tell me how to fix these 2 accounts so that they sync correctly?
