I recently purchased a few EFTs. When I went to add them to my securities list there is no EFT listed as a file type. What security file Type should I use? Any help will be much appreciated'

Thank you

Lynn

I assume you mean ETFs - Exchange Traded Funds. EFT stands for Electronic Funds Transfer.

They trade like stocks so you can list them as stocks. Alternatively, when creating the security or editing the security details, you can add custom security types like "ETF."

Thanks Jim I did mean ETF

I will list them as Stocks as Quicken Classic for Mac doesn't have the option to add custom security types
