CollegeInvest Issues Continue?

Hey all,

I recently attempted to add my grandson's CollegeInvest portfolio into Quicken and ran into the issue described in a closed thread (link to that thread below). Though the discussion seemed to indicate that issue applied almost exclusively to the Mac OS, I'm seeing this issue in Windows Classic Deluxe (version R65.17).

Can anyone confirm whether this issue has been resolved or is ongoing?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello @norvanl62,

Thank you for sharing your experience. To help us better understand the situation, could you clarify exactly what you are seeing on your end? Specifically:

    • Are you seeing the exact issue described in the closed alert (accounts showing $0 balance with no activity)?
    • Or is this a different behavior in your Windows Classic Deluxe version?

Please note that the previous internal ticket regarding the Mac issue has been closed, and that specific problem is no longer considered an ongoing issue.

After checking your account internally, it appears that you are currently receiving an internal FDP-185 error, which would present in-product as a CC-585 error. This typically indicates that your financial institution has added a new security feature that requires your attention before the account can be updated.

To troubleshoot this, please follow the steps in this support article.

    Summary of steps:

    1. Ensure you are running the latest Quicken release.
    2. From your account register, click the Actions Gear IconUpdate Now. image.png
    3. Follow on-screen instructions for each affected account.
    4. Sign in to your financial institution’s website and complete any new verification prompts, messages, or security steps.

If the issue persists after these steps, please contact Quicken Support for further assistance.

Could you confirm whether the behavior you’re seeing matches the old $0 balance issue, or if it aligns with the CC-585 scenario? This will help us pinpoint the correct next steps.

    Thank you!
