Boeing/Spirit AeroSystems Holdings Merger

Has anyone determined how to enter the recently completed merger between Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems Holdings? Quicken downloaded the information from Schwab and my number of shares shot up way more than what I should have received. Also, the payout for fractional shares is out of line as well. I used Corporate Action (stock for stock) and now have 315,909.36 shares when I should have 351.0104 shares. The conversion Ratio should have been SPR @ $37.25 and BA 15-day average price was $191.02, equaling a conversion rate of 19.5006%. Not sure if I am entering something wrong or what is causing Quicken to adjust in this manner.

If it was not, then please provide more details about the merger.

Since the transaction did not post the correct information, I recommend that you backup your Quicken file, then delete the Added and Removed transactions that were created.

Did you enter 19.5006 for New Shares Issued or .195006? According to my broker I had 60 shares of Spirit Aerosystems and ended up with 11.73 shares of Boeing, then given cash in lieu for the .73 shares. So I calculated the new shares value as 11.73 / 60 or .1955.

I am not sure what to use for the price per share since the transaction occurred on 12/8 I assume that is the date we want the price for but do we use the closing price ($206.27)? That is what I am going to try.
