Merge Option for Identical Listings for Same Security

Please add a Merge Option for Identical Listings for Same Security. Quicken for Mac has this, why not all versions? I have a recollection that the Windows version used to have it. This should't be terribly difficult, especially since the code already exists for one version.

    I think that you're saying that you've created what is in reality the same security as 2, or more, different securities. Is that correct?

    If so, why can't you do a 1:1 Corporate Acquisition by one of those securities of the other(s)?

    Do those these securities have the same symbol? If so, you MIGHT have to change the symbol of a "to-be acquired" security before doing the acquisition.

    My recommendation for currently addressing that type of problem within Quicken for Windows.
