No, you should not have to reauthorize accounts every time you download transactions. I have some follow-up questions for you:
- What exactly are you seeing from your end?
- What occurs when you try to update your accounts?
- Are you getting any error codes?
- How long has this issue been happening?
- How are you opening Quicken?
- Are you using the red square application icon, or does the icon look more like a red or white sheet of paper with the corner folded down?
- Where is your data file located?
- Is your file being synced/backed up by any third-party services like Dropbox, Norton, or OneDrive?
