    Quicken Download of Edward Jones IRA is Switching Tracking Method

    I found the Quicken issue and an annoying workaround. There is a toggle in the account detail screen that switches Simple/Complete, however, resetting to Simple on import. So it is a Quicken thing.

    Not sure why it resets on import. But when it does, it shows the list/graph screen and not transactions.

    I can recreate every time:
    Online Services disabled, toggle enabled, change toggle to Complete, select OK, can see transactions but not update from download because it's disabled.

    Enable Online Services, no option to confirm or select Simple/Complete, import occurs as part of enabling, finishes, Finish. Screen reverts to Simple with 4-square view of lists/graphs, toggle now disabled and was reset to Simple during import.

    Therefore, I know how to see transactions and updated transactions are occurring during Simple import. But I have to disable Online Services to reset to Complete to view transactions. Then reenable Online Services to update. Endlessly disabling, resetting to Complete, reenabling, importing, back it goes to Simple and simple view or two lists and two graphs! As I said annoying.

    Thank you for sharing your experience. I can see that you're connecting to Edward Jones using Express Web Connect instead of Direct Connect. You should be able to use Complete for the investment tracking method if you connect using Direct Connect. Are you having trouble connecting using Direct Connect? If so, please provide more information what happens when you try to connect.
