Account Update Errors

There have been serious account updating errors occurring in the last two weeks for almost all my connected accounts. The first are errors that state the account doesn't exist at the host institution (which I can see when I log into those sites), but the second is more concerning, where transactions are not downloaded, but when the connection is reset, the transactions are loaded into seemingly random, unrelated accounts. This is making Quicken almost useless.

Have other users experienced this, and if so, how did you resolve it? I just spent several hours deleting duplicate transactions downloaded into the wrong account. And after that, most of my accounts can't be reconciled to the mountain of data errors.

In order to better assist you, can you please provide more information?

• 
  Are the accounts that are downloading into incorrect accounts all held at one bank?
  • Which bank(s) are these accounts held at?
• Which financial institutions are returning errors when you try to update them?
  • What specific errors are you seeing?
• 
  Have you tried restoring a backup from before these issues started?
  • If not, this is a good place to start.
    • Choose File menu > Backup and Restore > Restore from Backup File. The Restore from Backup File screen will appear.
    • If you want to restore a backup file that Quicken created automatically for you, choose Restore from automatic backups, and then select one of the backup files listed.
    • If you want to restore a backup file that you created yourself, choose Restore from your backup, and then click Browse to locate your backup.
    • Select Restore Backup. This will overwrite your current file.
