Banking Check Register - How do I keep my Bill and Income Reminders Expanded?

Why?

In Banking Check Registers, at the bottom of the page, is the "Bill and Income Reminders" (BAIR) section. Once I enter a transaction from this section, the BAIR section minimizes/contracts and I have to keep clicking the down arrow to expand it again to enter the next transaction. I have read answers to previous questions regarding this problem and it has not resolved this issue.

Here is the process for entering BAIR transactions in Banking Check Registers,

Click the arrow to expand the BAIR section
Select a reminder transaction and make the entry.
Once the entry has been made (completed), the BAIR section automatically minimizes
Then I have to go back to step one to repeat the process for each reminder transaction I need to enter.

This issue only happens with Banking check registers, the BAIR section in Investment account registers stay open until the last transaction is accepted; however, in the checking account register the BAIR section minimizes after every entered transaction.

Super annoying and a time waster.

Instead of clicking on the BAIR title, click on the > to the left of those titles. That should keep it open.

Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue for me, but did lead me to discover the answer. Perhaps it is due to some difference between Quicken Windows Subscription, Business & Personal and the version I’m running, Quicken Classic Premier Subscription.

After trying many different sequences, here are the steps I used to turn on and off the issue:

To keep the BAIR section open/maximized after entering BAIR transactions:

Open the affected check register
Click on the > to the left of the BAIR title, this opens the BAIR section
Click on the ˅ to the left of the BAIR title, this will minimize the BAIR section
Click on BAIR title (“Bills and Income Reminders”); this will open the BAIR section and keep it open after entering BAIR transactions. Alternately, instead of clicking the BAIR title you can close and restart Quicken.

To minimize the BAIR section after entering BAIR transactions,

Open the affected check register
Click on the ˅ to the left of the BAIR title, this will minimize the BAIR section
Click on the > to the left of the BAIR title, this opens the BAIR section
Close and restart Quicken

NOTE: after step 3, DO NOT click the ˅ again or minimize the BAIR section, otherwise the BAIR section will remain open/maximized after restarting Quicken.
