Fidelity Revenue Credit transactions being handled incorrectly
I found that Fidelity "Revenue Credit" transactions for my Mutual Funds are being entered as "Sell" transactions when they are actually buys. Each of these "Revenue Credit" transactions is actually a "reinvest dividend" where shares are to be added to the balance. The downloaded transaction from Fidelity is entered into Quicken as a "Sell" for the same # of shares but no "Cash Out" value entered. The cost of the "Sell" is shown as "Commission" expense.
This is completely incorrect.
Attached is a screenshot of the Fidelity download of CSV transactions showing the Revenue Credit transaction is a net add of shares. Also attached is a screenshot of how the transaction showed up in Quicken as a "Sell" with the "Commission" expense for the same value.
Why is this being handled this way?
