Quicken is logging updates to the wrong accounts - the online totals is not matching the app totals

This is getting very frustrating…I am having to manually delete transactions and apply the payments to the correct accounts. What can I do to resolve this issue….I am ready to cancel my subscription because I am having to manually do 3 times the work and compare all transactions to the website versus the Quicken online app.

Please clarify: Are you referring to Quicken on the Web (which is a companion app to Quicken Classic) or to Quicken Simplifi (which truly is an online app) or to Quicken Classic which is an app that is installed on and run from the local drive and is not an online app?

If have have 2 credit cards by same vendor example Chase that use the same login , it is logging payments to the wrong credit cards and other transactions to the wrong account. I have to manually adjust the transactions to correct the download entrys.

It is doing this on all accounts. The online balance amount Line looks correct to the vendors website actual current balance, however the "Ending Balance" in Quicken is WAY off , so I have to correct multiple line items to correct the "Ending Balance" in every account.

Thanks for clarifying that it is Quicken on the Web and not the local drive Quicken Classic app.

Is the data that is downloading in the Quicken Classic app on your local drive being matched to the wrong accounts, as well?

Quicken on the Web should be a simple reflection of some of the data that are found in the Quicken Classic app. If they are not in agreement with each other then it means that the Cloud Account likely needs to be reset or deleted and set up again.

If Quicken on the Web does match what is happening in the Quicken Classic app, then that is a different issue that requires a different fix solution.

Your response to these questions will help in determining which process to start with.
