    I just checked my transactions and 100's of new transactions came through…..to the wrong account.

    This will likely take me hours if not days to reconcile where they belong.

    I tried to add my checking back in and also add a new CD account. After it added the new accounts, all my accounts got completely screwed up with a ton of extra transactions. I created a backup just before I did that, so I rolled things back and all is good again. Clearly, it isn't ready yet.

    Yeah - I turned off all downloads for my Elevations accounts. I'll wait until they have it really fixed. That doesn't seem to be the case currently.

    Hello All,

    Thank you for updating the discussion with your findings.

    Can I please have everyone experiencing this new issue of transactions downloading into the wrong accounts go to Help>Report a problem>Send to Quicken, and send over log files.

    This way, we can get this reported as well. Let me know once you have sent over your log files so I can get them added to the ticket.

    Just sent a Report-A-Problem and Subject: Quicken Alyssa - Elevations Download issues

    39 transactions in checking and 61 in savings. Savings has a majority of checking transactions.

    I received your direct message and replied. I have some complications in testing this out (detailed in the email) but will as soon as I'm able. In my case, I actually had transactions from a different account downloaded into another account.

    Eg: Account 22222, which the primary is a secondary on account 11111, had all the transactions from account 11111 AND the transactions from 22222 downloaded into it.

    I tried to create a new Quicken file and re-connect all my accounts.
    This worked okay and the right opening balances are shown, but with no transactions.

    If you try to update, then you get this error:

    There hasn't been an update since 12/4. You can't start a new Quicken file and downloading to an existing one downloads a bunch of mixed transactions.

    An update from Quicken on where things are at would be appreciated. It is going on 5 weeks now since this stopped working.

    No connection since Nov 17th, that seems an extraordinary length of time to rectify this problem.
    Please expedite this issue and provide an update.

    We're getting close to the end of the year and I've been unable to download transactions since mid November. Manual upload workaround is not reasonable for me due to the sheer number of accounts I have with the bank (>22). I've provided some error details to Quicken but it doesn't look like there has been a resolution here.

    About 2 weeks ago I attempted to connect again but there were major issues with transactions going to the wrong account. I restored from backup and since then I've disabled all connections for these accounts to prevent this from happening again until there is a complete and tested solution.

    The fact that it's been almost a month an a half COMBINED with now that we are approaching the end of the year without a solution makes this extraordinarily problematic for keeping my finances in order.

    Elevations Credit Union - CO ISSUE

    I spent many, many hours over multiple days reconstructing my ECU checking account file because Quicken went into some sort of spasm after I attempted to re-connect with my ECU checking account. After all that time and work and all the repairs were completed, I clicked on Account List/ Elevations Credit Union/ Online Services and selected Deactivate Online Services. Then the horrifying nightmare started again! Quicken started to flash and flicker for several minutes and when it finally stopped, the RECONCILED transactions were once again scrambled, and the Ending balance had been changed AGAIN. The first repair involved going back to June of 2019 to find the first of at least 100 errors. Hopefully, the MULTIPLE backups survived, and restoration will be much easier and faster this time, but my heart palpitates just thinking about touching anything to do with this program.

    Sorry to hear that. If not for backups I would have been in the same position. I have quicken to backup every time I quit and I think I have it set to keep the max (99).

    You should at least know, after a month and a half, what the problem is, who's responsibility it currently is, and some kind of timeline for resolution. If you do not have that information and/or are not willing to share it you are quite simply incompetent at basic software development and client management. I'm really disappointed and anyone who waits this long without any meaningful communication would be

    A few weeks ago I was able to import an Elevations download into quicken. Now it seems that there is no more option in Quicken to import Elevations transactions. This is because Elevations isn't setup for Automatic Updates. When I try to bypass the update the only option is to enter transactions manually. The problem has gone from bad to worse with no updates.
    Please help and advise

    I reached out to Elevations again today, and received the following response:

    We know how disruptive syncing issues with Quicken can be, and we want you to know Elevations is monitoring the situation closely. We’ve taken all steps available to us and are currently waiting for Intuit to resolve the issue.

    @Quicken Anja, @Quicken Alyssa — according to the above (and previous phone calls to Elevations Credit Union), they believe that the issue can only be worked on and corrected on the Quicken side. Can you confirm that is accurate, and that Quicken staff are continuing to look at the issue? I am sympathetic to the stress of dealing with these sorts of complex issues, but it's been over a month since customers have had any update.

    It is stunning to have the current situation (no or incorrect downloads from Elevations) slop into 2026. Like other users here that have a long history (27+years) with Quicken and Elevations, we have deep frustrations that neither institution seems to prioritize this issue.

    I am now pleading with the Quicken team: "Please, get this fixed. Stop pointing fingers at each other. Work to resolve this issue before you start losing customers. Make this THE priority."

    There are alternatives to both Quicken and Elevations.

    We apologize that this issue has not yet been resolved. As you can see in the linked Alert, unfortunately, this is an ongoing issue. You can also see this in the Quicken Windows product when you try adding an account with this financial institution.

    [Removed-Speculation] We want information... Not "you can see the current status and subscribe to updates". Specifically, people want to know two things

    1. What is going on. I.e. what changed and what is required to fix it.
    2. Some kind of actual plan/timeline of when it will be fixed that you can commit to. If that's 6 months, say it and say it now.

    Since we are now 2 months in, and I have over a dozen accounts with Elevations… can I assume that when this is fixed, and I enable downloads, ALL (every single one) of my transactions will download?

    In other words, Quicken is smart enough to "pull" all transactions that haven't been downloaded no matter how long ago they were?

    @ironmanco,

    Thank you for posing this question.

    The time frame of transactions sent to Quicken is determined by the financial institution and varies. Some banks provide 90days of transaction history, some provide a year or more.

    I do not know exactly how much Elevations Credit Union provides, but the least amount would be 90days.
