META still bringing in FB pricing on Mac

I have the same problem, Every day I update, I need to delete the phantom FACE positions, even though I have everything under META
I spoke to Schwab, and they pointed me back to Quicken.
I have tried moving the position to another account, and the problem follows.
Been a user since the DOS days, this is very frustrating. What is the timeframe for a fix ?

I completely understand the frustration
This issue has an open investigation (CTP-14991). The team is actively working it, but at this time there isn’t an ETA available for a fix.
You’re also correct that the Windows workaround of editing the security doesn’t translate cleanly to Mac. Deleting and re-adding accounts or moving positions, unfortunately, won’t resolve it, since the incorrect mapping is happening during the price download process itself.
To help move the investigation forward, the team is still collecting data from affected users. If you’re willing, submitting any of the following through Help > Report a Problem would be very helpful:
- Log files
- A sanitized data file
- Screenshots showing the incorrect pricing or security mapping
Each additional example helps the developers better isolate what’s happening across different setups (brokerage, connection type, etc.).
