I didn't do much in Quicken between Thanksgiving and Christmas due to the holidays, travel and illness. After Christmas I entered 30-40 transactions and backed up the file. A couple of days later all of the 30-40 transactions I'd previously entered were gone! Checked all accounts. Only have one file. Just gone. So I re-entered those transactions and a bunch more over the last week or so. But Quicken is behaving erratically. Sometimes a transactions won't post. Sometimes it asks me if I want to create a category that is already created. Sometimes data is replaced with N/A and I get a message saying that the transaction is corrupt and to delete it and re-enter it. I'm tired of re-entering. It's a big enough pain to get transactions entered the first time without having to re-do some or all of them! This wasn't happening before Thanksgiving. What has happened since Thanksgiving? I've been using Quicken since 1997 and have never experienced so much difficulty with it! I don't like this subscription model at all! It seems to create more issues than help.
