How make adjustments per lot for Company Spin Off

Let me start by posting what I asked a Quicken Support Agent:

From what I understand, I need to adjust each of the 18 lots I have of Unilever to reduce the cost basis. Because Quicken Mac doesn't have the same tools as Quicken Windows (10 years later), I'm led to believe these adjustments need to be done manually, but I don't see any action that does this.

How do I accomplish this?

Thank you for reaching out, though I'm sorry to hear that Quicken Support was not helpful. Currently, Quicken for Mac does not have a built in function for corporate spinoffs. We do have an Idea post requesting that functionality be added:

If I'm reading @cdalmeida's approach correctly, that would be a single set of transactions on the date of trading post demerger? This would not then accurately report cost basis on a lot-by-lot basis?
