Reconciled account, downloaded 2 transactions, and now the balance is off

    On 12-30-2025 I reconciled an account. On 1-5-2025 I downloaded 2 transactions because the statement date ended. I reconciled again and now there is a $90.00 difference between online balance and quicken.

    Bank of America. No, the 2 items downloaded were not pending. Pending downloads from BOA don't seem to download.

    The account in question is a credit card seldom used (mostly car repairs and maintenance) with a transfer balance and a purchase balance. The 2 items were the interest charges for the 2 balances. The 2 items showed up as cleared with a $90.00 Difference. I manually marked both items as Reconciled. I then went back and changed both to clear. Reconciled again and no difference on balance. Difference went away.

    To clarify, did manually marking the transactions as reconciled, then changing them to cleared, then back to reconciled again correct the issue, or is there still an unexplained difference?
