ROI CALCUALTION DOES NOT WORK IN 2026

I notice when I enter any stock in year 2026. The ROI is n/a. If I enter the same stock in year 2025, ROI will give me a percentage. I thought this could be an issue with the stock symbol so I tried another stock symbol and got the same result. N/A in 2026 and it works in 2025. I have a few accounts under my profile and it is the same on all the accounts whether it is US or Canadian. The version R65.20

    Check the price history for the problem stock when the ROI is showing N/A. My guess would be that if the stock is newly added, there is no price prior to the purchase date.

    In your example with the initial purchase on 1/1/26, there was no closing price for 12/31/25 and thus Quicken assumes it was zero and the ROI YTD can't be calculated.

    I think fact that there were no shares prior to 1/1/26 overrides the lack of a price for 12/31/25 or before.

    If you had the cash in the account on 12/31 and entered a buy rather than an Add, ROI for the account would likely be accurate.
