If you're downloading transactions from the Royal Bank
If you are having trouble with transactions being duplicated in Quicken when you download from the Royal Bank, it's the bank! Not you, not Quicken, the Royal Bank.
I called Quicken seven or eight times until one of their people identified that it was the Royal Bank that was the root of the problem.
It took me two calls and four different tech support people before I got high enough up the food chain till a very nice lady told me that indeed, there has been a problem dating back to the downloading process being changed by RBC.
I have registered a complaint and will continue to complain to RBC till this is resolved. Even the nice lady tried to minimize the aggravation.

Which download method, Web Connect or Express Web Connect (ie One Step Update), is affected by this issue?
