percent transaction quit working

I used a 70/30 percent memorized transaction for Walmart for YEARS! Now that doesn't work. It just pushes the amount, say $50 to a new, unclassified line and puts in a zero for the 70/30 rows. This just started in the past month or so.

    Check your Memorized Payee List. There should only be one Walmart transaction, marked as Type = %Spl
    Delete any other Walmart entry that may have been created by mistake.

    When adding a new Walmart transaction directly from the account register, you should only get the Percentage Split popup dialog, not the Split Transaction Detail dialog.

    Thanks for the reply. I only have the one Walmart % transaction saved.

    Now, that's what USED to happen. Now it says it will % split, but uses the actual purchase amount used when the % split was saved, say $30.48, then uses that $30.48 split of $5.00 and $25.48 of the original saved transaction, THEN ADDS A LINE for "split adjustment" to make the balance equal the new transaction amount. In this case it was only $8.93. So there is a "split adjustment" of minus $21.55 to match the actual, current $8.93. See attached.

    I can't save screen shot showing the dropdown in the account register. It disappears when I open Snipping Tool.
