Classic Quicken not Responding on Tahoe Update

Anyone know how to fix Quicken not responding? I was on for almost 2 hours with AppleCare. Re-installed Tahoe and Quicken application multiple times, including trashing program, emptying trash and restarting.

Problems started after Tahoe was installed.

    No problems with Quicken on Tahoe here.

    What sort of "not responding" is happening? Does the app just fail to start at all? Do you get an app window with an endlessly spinning beach ball? Is it becoming non-responsive when you try to download new transactions?

    Also, which version of Quicken? and is it an Intel Mac or Apple Silicon?
