This is a known issue where it appears a version update did not completely or accurately install. Until a fix is made available in some future version update there is something we can do that in most cases resolves the issue: Uninstall Quicken Classic > download and install a fresh copy of Quicken Classic from your online Quicken.com account or from https://www.quicken.com/support/how-do-i-download-quicken-quickencom-after-i-buy-it/ .

Most people who have done this have confirmed that it resolved this issue for them (including for me).

A few have posted that it did not resolve the issue for them. In those cases, after uninstalling Quicken Classic they would delete the Quicken program folder (NOT the folder with the data files in them) and then download and install the fresh copy of Quicken Classic. I do not recall anyone saying that doing this did not resolve the issue for them.
