Fidelity Downloaded Transactions Not Matching
.
I have similar problem with my fidelity net benefits one step download effecting my 401a, 403b and 457f accounts. This has been going on since the Fall (September I think). The transactions have all right information except the security name is "UNIDENTIFIED SECURITY". So I have to accept the transactions and then log into my Fidelity account on line to determine which transactions and then go back to Quicken to update the names. What is the solution?
Hello @tfluegs,
Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this problem. This is a known issue. Please follow these steps from our Community Alert about the issue:
Ensure every transaction previously pointing to “Unidentified Security” is corrected before deleting it. If the correct security name isn’t obvious, then confirm it from your Fidelity website holdings page.
If the issue persists or returns after you've followed the steps above, then please contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance and escalation if needed.
Thank you! (Ticket #11955039)
I posted about this issue months ago and it's been going on even longer.
Expect to spend a lot of time manually updating and fixing this issue yourself.
I'm considering just manually downloading it from Fidelity directly and scrapping Quicken since we're paying for something that hasn't worked.
