Had trouble updating account password in Quicken and getting help was difficult [Edited]

Quicken Windows Subscription Member
I changed my bank account password, and getting Quicken to connect again was not easy. Finally, now it says it's connecting, but it does not recognize cleared checks.
It doesn't, when reconciling an account, show the bank's balance.
Getting help is essentially impossible. After 30 years with Quicken I'm going to try something else.
