WHY is the "Move transaction" selection not enabled for cash accounts?

I am using Quicken for Windows.

Occasionally, I enter a credit card transaction in my Fidelity-Cash account by mistake. So I would like to "Move transaction" from my cash account to the credit account where it belongs. But the "Move transaction" selection is disabled in the cash account". So I have to delete it and reenter it into my credit account. Not very user friendly!

I'm thinking it's because the Fidelity-Cash account is not a real account and there really are no transactions in there even though it might look like it. Instead, the transactions are located in the investment account but they are not visible there because you've elected to have them shown in this faux Fidelity-Cash account. Since it is not in a real account it is not something that be moved. Just a guess but it seems logical to me.

If you want you can suggest this as a Product Idea at https://community.quicken.com/categories/product-ideas . Click on the New Idea button to submit the idea. Then other users will have the opportunity to review, comment and cast their vote for it. Quicken does review Product Ideas and after they get enough votes (typically about 50) the Development Team will usually take it into consideration and will decide whether or not it will be added to their development plan.

    How about this?
Looking at the popup menu, both Cut and Copy transactions are enabled.
Try Cut, then switch to the other register's new transaction line and Paste transaction.
If Cut doesn't work, try Copy / Paste and then delete the original from the -Cash register.
