For several months, every time I get paid, Quicken totally rearranges all the split items. This appears to have been a known bug for some time.
Does Quicken have any expectation when this bug will be fixed?
We're other users and can't answer "when" type questions … because we don't know the answer either.
BUT, how are you recording that salary payment? Are you using the Paycheck Wizard? Because I'm not aware of the bug you're alleging … and it sounds more like file corruption to me.
Have you tried taking a backup and then Validating your Q data file? Supervalidating?
Also are you using Q Mobile or Q Web?
And, what Q product are you running and what BUILD of that product? This info is at HELP, About Quicken.
There is an alert about paycheck issues:
Saw this occurrence numerous times on split transactions also with banking accounts and transaction reminders. Only occurred when using Mobile and Web sync. Finally, just quit using mobile and web sync.
