Mortgage Loan "Next Due" date not updating

When I make a mortgage payment and I select the category as the Mortgage that I setup, the Loan itself does not update the "next due" date for payment. I must go into the loan and update the details for this to reflect.

Am I doing something incorrect? The mortgage loan does reflect the payment (principal) so the accounts/bills seems to be linked properly.

Elaborate upon how you're making those mortgage payments?

Did you use the mortgage wizard? Is this a memorized transaction? What?

I believe I used the Mortgage wizard.

The mortgage is under "Property & Debt" and when I make a mortgage payment it is a split transaction between Taxes/Escrow, Principal, and Interest.

The principal goes against the "Property & Debt" portion but the date never seems to update.
