Chase Bank Account Balance
I am running Q for Mac Classic on my Mac Air. My balance has always been correct I have auto download feature . This morning I noted a 15k discrepancy. When looking at my last 10 prior years the amount shows a historical balance discrepancy of 15 k
The only thing I can think of is on Monday 2-2 , I was on the phone with Quicken Support trying to figure out why my Net Worth report on one stock brokerage account did not match the side bar. We did not try and adjust any settings on this checking account .
Has any one else noticed there Chase checking account balance significantly off ?

Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. Which balance is wrong: Online Balance, Today's Balance, or Projected Balance? I checked my Chase accounts and their balances all agree with what I see on Chase's website.
Have you been able to spot the cause of this discrepancy? You mentioned it's showing as a historical discrepancy. Are there any duplicate or missing transactions? Is the opening balance correct?

The Todays balance is off compared to my Chase account . The balance always matched until 2 -3 days ago .
I have narrowed the issue to 2020 year since I was comparing my Q for Windows version .
The question is why 2-3 days ago did it match and is now 15k higher ?

Data in your file shouldn't be changing like that. Was there anything that happened around the same time as the issue, such as a program/computer update or needing to deactivate/reactivate the account?
Did you see what changed in 2020? For example, is the problem duplicate or missing transactions? Is the opening balance from 2020, and if it is, did the opening balance change?

I just noted the change in my balance last week . I did not deactivate / reactivate Chase service . There was no opening balance change I have had Chase for over 30 years . There was a duplicate 15 k deposit that I found , deleted and now the balance is correct .

Yes this was the first time . My balance was always correct , not off 15k . I am not sure how this occurred since I did not deactivate / reactivate Chase
