Hello @pleroux,
We haven't heard back from you in a while. Do you still need assistance? Were you able to give @q_lurker's suggestion a try?
Check back and let us know! Thank you.
Check your Security List (Ctrl-y). Make sure hidden securities are displayed. Review the list for both Micron Tech and ticker = MU. As mentioned in the discussion where you first posted this, the currency for the security has to match the currency for the account into which you are buying the shares. Have you checked the currency are the same?
I have the same problem. I tried entering a new transaction for shares in MU (Micron Technology) but was told it already existed (in my Watchlist). I tried all the solutions offered by Quicken and ChatGPT but nothing worked. I erased MU from my watchlist and still nothing worked. I am entering this in a Canadian Tax Free Savings Account with iTrade that already has shares like NVIDIA and Google in it, so I don't see why I can't enter MU.
I've spent hours on this and I don't like it.
