One Step Update - Mobile the issue?
I have been having issues with my One Step update just hanging forcing me to end the task through task manager.
My Quicken file was sitting in a folder that was backing up to OneDrive so, based on other threads, I move it right to my PC's hard drive into a folder NOT being backed up to OneDrive.
I disabled Mobile and Web.
I validated and super validated.
I did an update an it worked well.
I went and re-enabled Mobile and Web and voila, back to the hanging up issue.
I went back and disabled this and it updated fine.
I have always the mobile app to update transactions on the fly using Quicken as an checkbook register or sorts and would be disappointed if this was not possible any longer.
Any thoughts on what else I can try???

Getting your Q data file out from under OneDrive is HIGHLY recommended. OD interferes with Q's management of the file.
You CAN direct your Q backups to a OneDrive folder … just not the data file itself.
RE: the hanging issue, I'd suggest that you contact Q Support via the link at the top of this page.

Thank you. I moved the file and that seemed to solve issues until I restarted Mobile & Web. I will place backups on OneDrive but will keep my active Quicken file on a local folder not connected to OneDrive.
I will try Support on the underlying issue.
