Fidelity Cash Management Account Downloads Payments as Covering a Short Position (CvrShrtX)

I have a Fidelity cash management account. One account is the brokerage and the other is cash. All bills paid from cash. All income goes into the brokerage and is transferred to the cash account. The last download had all of the latest transactions in the brokerage account as Covered Short position transfer (CvrShrtX). Everything was working fine until today. Anyone else having this issue?

    if you delete the “covered short” transaction, the cash account will reconcile.

    Hello All,

    Thank you for the additional reports.

    This is a known issue that has been escalated internally and is currently being investigated. At this time, we do not have an ETA for a resolution, but updates will be shared in the Community Alert, which was also previously linked above, as soon as more information becomes available.

    In the meantime, as some users have noted, deleting the incorrectly downloaded “Covered Short” transaction appears to allow the cash account to reconcile as expected. While this is only a temporary workaround, it may help until a permanent fix is implemented.
