Fidelity Downloads Transactions as CvrShrt Unidentified Securities

@Quicken Anja

Up until this morning I was only getting transactions downloaded as "Unidentified Securities" from my Fidelity Netbenefits 401K account. This was manageable because the number of transactions is very small.

As of this morning the Unidentified Securities issue is impacting our 2 Fidelity "Joint" brokerage accounts. I am not seeing this issue on any our Fidelity IRA accounts.

However, "all" transactions (downloaded as Unidentified Securities or not) for "all" our accounts (both Joint and IRA) with Fidelity are now downloaded as Covered Short transactions, i.e. CvrShrt, which is totally wrong.

In addition older transactions that were previously downloaded correctly are being downloaded again as CvrShrt transactions.

I had a call a couple of weeks ago with Gabriel in Quicken Support and he said they are aware of the Unidentified Securities problem with Netbenefits but that there was no fix yet. At that time I was not experiencing these new issues that I am reporting today.

This problem has been going on for months now and is only getting worse not better. And now, with the higher volume of transactions being impacted, it is becoming very time consuming.

Given how long these issues have been going on I do not get the impression that Quicken is prioritizing a fix. I ask that Quicken please prioritize fixing these Fidelity issues. This is very frustrating.
