Hello - In the Simplify community forum Laura seems to have solved the connection to Bilt 2.0 via Plaid. Does this also apply to Quicken Classic? I am a long time Quicken Deluxe for Windows user who has the new Bilt Palladium card and would very much like to use one-step update to connect to Bilt.

Hi Laura - Actually, it is Natalie in the Simplify community forum who has been so helpful to those customers in creating the Bilt linkage. Are you also working on Quicken Classic?

Hi @weshough,
Thank you for letting us know about the update you saw on the Simplifi forum — we really appreciate the information. And yes, you’re absolutely right: Cardless is now working in Simplifi.
For Quicken Classic (for Windows), Cardless/Bilt 2.0 is not yet available. Our teams are actively working with our aggregation partners to add it to the supported financial institution list. However, at this time, we do not have an ETA for when it will become available.
We appreciate your patience while this work continues, and we’re here if you have any other questions!

I'm looking forward to this getting implemented. 🤞I don't know how it works behind the scenes, but it seems that having Simplifi solved means that porting it to Classic shouldn't be as big a lift. (For whatever it's worth, I'm on Quicken Classic (for Mac).

Following this resolution.

Hi @lewandor,
That's right, our team is working with our aggregation partners, although there is
still no ETA for the solution. We greatly appreciate your patience. If you have any other questions, I am here to help.

@thadcaper Yes, since you have posted in this thread, you'll be notified of new pposts here. But just so you are aware, threads in this forum are routinely closed if there is no activity (new posts) after a period of several weeks. This happens irrespective of whether the issue has been resolved or not. As this is the type of issue which might be resolved next week or might not be resolved for many months — and there's no way to know (or for the moderators to know) whether a solution is imminent or far off — just be aware that this thread may get closed unless you or others post here once every few weeks.

thanks for the thread..i to am looking to download bilt 2.0 transactions to quicken classic (as we have been able to do with both of bilts previously banking partners)…hopefully you get this fixed sooner vs later.

Following and hoping that, as with Simplifi, there will be a quick resolution to this issue. I currently use Quicken Classic Deluxe on a Windows PC.

Just adding another voice, also wanting the connection between Quicken Classic (for Mac) and Bilt to be set up soon!

Adding another voice to link bilt 2.0 to quicken. Any other cardless cards like the qatar card would be nice as well

same here. Was anxious to get started using new bilt card but will back off using until this issue is resolved. Manual transaction entry isn’t my favorite activity.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your continued patience.
At this time, the financial institution is not yet available in Quicken Classic. Our team is actively working on this with our aggregation partners; however, we do not have an update or an estimated timeframe for resolution.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your patience while we work toward a solution.

I am confused… Bilt 2.0 CS did not mention a plan for linking to Quicken. Quicken Laura says "
our team is working with our aggregation partners" - who needs to request the linkage: Quicken or Bilt 2.0? I thought it was Bilt 2.0 which did not seem to be working on it at all… kindly advise if Quicken Team can make that happen.

Hi everyone,
We appreciate you sticking with us and checking back for updates.
This financial institution is still unavailable in Quicken Classic. Our teams are still working with our aggregation partners on this, but we don't yet have a timeline to share.
We understand how frustrating this can be and sincerely appreciate your patience as we continue efforts toward a resolution.

Is the inability to automatically download Bilt 2.0 transactions into Quicken due to a roadblock at Quicken, Bilt or Cardless? Who is holding up a fix?

Good question

How about an update Quicken Laura ?

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your continued patience.
At this time, Bilt is still not supported in Quicken Classic. The connection currently relies on services that are not supported in Quicken Classic, which is why it may work in Quicken Simplifi but not in Quicken Classic yet.
Our team is continuing to work with our aggregator partners to explore adding support for this financial institution. However, we do not currently have an ETA for when it may be available in the financial institution list.
We understand how important this connection is and truly appreciate your patience while we work toward a resolution.

Any update on Bilt 2.0 cards (Cardless) being on Quicken Classic (for me I'm specifically interested in it being available on the Mac version)?
0 -
Hi all,
We understand how frustrating it can be not to see Bilt 2.0 listed as a financial institution in Quicken. At this time, there aren’t any updates regarding its availability yet.
As soon as we receive any new information, we’ll be sure to share it here.
Thank you!

Who is the party responsible for being able to get this to work? Is the burden all on the Quicken Classic development team? It sounds like Bilt has indeed exposed card transaction data to be downloaded, as Quicken Simplifi is supported now. So the data is available. But Quicken hasn't developed a connector to work with Plaid? So we are waiting for Quicken to develop a Plaid connector?
Thank you!

@DF_ I can't answer your question definitively, and I'm not sure if one of the moderators can or will. Quicken uses Intuit as its aggregator for the Mac and Windows Quicken Classic products. I don't know if there are any selected financial institutions which Quicken reaches via a different aggregator like Plaid, but I haven't heard of that. On the other hand, Quicken Mac and Simplifi do share much of the same back-end server architecture (QCS), so maybe there's a clear path forward for Bilt connectivity. I doubt you'll get a clear answer here about what each of the parties has to do to establish connectivity.
The one thing I'd add is that these things typically don't happen quickly; even fixes to existing connections which get broken can take months until the responsible party(ies) get code fixes in place. Maybe there will be a pleasant surprise and this will appear soon, but I wouldn't typically epexct something like this to come to fruition quickly. It may depend on whether Bilt (Cardless) is actively working to get it implemented.

Is any actual progress being made on this issue? It's been two months now since the issue was first raised, and all we get back is periodic "our team is continuing to work with our aggregation partners." What, if anything, is actually being done about this?

Hi everyone,
I completely understand your concerns regarding the limited progress over the past month.
At this time, the issue is still actively being worked on. While implementations like this can sometimes take longer than expected, I don’t have an estimated timeframe for resolution to share right now.
Thank you for your continued patience, and we’ll provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
