Quicken Mobile changes my budget numbers

Hello Quicken Community,

Since I couldn't find any posts within the past year discussing this matter so thought I'd ask again.

I stopped using the mobile Quicken a few years back because it would change the budget numbers I had plugged into monthly budget on my desktop.

Since it's been a while since I turned on mobile sync, I thought I would check to see if this issue has been resolved.

I would only use the mobile app when I was traveling and it was nice to stay on top of finances while away, but was not worth it when I would have to painstakingly go through and revise the monthly budgeted numbers to my original amounts.

Anyone know if Quicken may have resolved this problem? It would sure be nice to log in on mobile when traveling.

Thanks,

Steve

    Hello @SMCHome,

Thank you for reaching out! If you are referring to the widespread issue from a couple of years ago where sync was causing budgets to change, that issue was marked resolved.

While sync doesn't cause problems for most people, it is a good idea to make a backup of your file prior to turning it on, just in case.

    I hope this helps!
