Hello,
I am having this exact same problem with a completely different local bank/credit union. I have 2 links to this back. Some accounts (loans) are Express Web Connect and those work fine with One Step Update. The other accounts (checking/savings/CC) are Direct Connect and that is where I have the problem. They all show the same financial institution. It will not accept my password in Vault, but does accept it in "Reset Account". Please add me to the problem ticket as well. I have also had this problem since a recent suggested update in Nov/Dec.
There are no threads at all about my bank in the forum, but this is my exact problem as well.

Thank you for your reply,
To start troubleshooting, let's first check for any data file specific issues. Please try validating your data file. Please save a backup file prior to performing these steps.
Validate:
- File
- Validate and Repair File...
- Validate File
- Click OK
- Close the Data Log
- Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
- Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.
Let me know how it goes!

@Quicken Kristina I tried the suggested steps above and that did not fix the problem. It still has an error accepting my password in the OneStep Update box, but has no problem in the Edit Account Details - Reset Account window. I am using Quicken Classic Business & Personal, R65.29 (27.1.65.29).

Thank you for your reply,
The next step is to restore a backup from before the issue started, if possible. Then test whether the issue persists in the newly restored backup.
Thank you!
