Question about Bills & Income

I sometimes receive a notice from some source other than Quicken that a bill is being or will be due. It's usually an autopayment. To avoid an accidental overdraft I could enter into my bank account register. But I sometimes go to Bills & Income to enter the amount, thinking that might help keep its calendar current. When I click on "Enter", I see the correct amount due and correct date already there. That is despite the fact that the usual blue-ball icon and notice of a future due date has never appeared. As most people already know, Bills & Income sometimes neglects to update an online payment that's due. I'm not sure, but it appears that it sometimes updates the information without the usual notice that a bill is due. In those cases, I have no way of knowing how long the correct information has been sitting there waiting to be entered into my register. Is there some way to know if future bills have been updated, and Bills & Income doesn't notify me when new debts have been recorded?

I don't rely on the "Bills & Income" panel. I actually record the transactions into the appropriate account when I'm notified of them … even/especially if they're future-dated.

That way I've got the running total of what my account balances will be at anytime in the near future.

Since my primary income is the RMDs from my retirement accounts, this also let's me know how much I need to withdraw, and when.

I have reported numerous times that Bills & Income reminder functions had errors. It was always the same date every month that my income sky rocketed. I finally deleted the bills and income reminders for that date and reentered them and it seems to have fixed, at least for today. I'll let you know if the problem reoccurs.
