Fidelity Cash+
Quicken is randomly automatically entering downloaded transactions into my Fidelity Cash+ account. I don't even see the transaction in the downloaded transactions window. I just open up the account and there they are. And they enter as cleared transactions. Is there a way to stop this from occurring? It is annoying.

Try EDIT, Preferences, Downloaded Transactions … and UNcheck the 2 "Automatically add …" boxes at the top of the dialog.
Also, was this account created by your use of the "Show cash in a checking account" feature of the associated taxable brokerage account?
And, are these legitimate transactions? Or totally fictitious? What shows at Fidelity's website?

I have quicken setup properly (the automatically add… is and has been unchecked). They are all legitimate transactions. It is the "show cash in a checking account" account from the associated brokerage account.. The transactions are are all on the fidelity website. I cannot figure out why some transactions just enter themselves automatically and some do not. There is no logic to it…

Tell us more about these transactions. Is there any similarity, or pattern? Any consistent date, or day of week? What money market fund actually holds the cash in the brokerage account?

No pattern that I can tell. I can say that Venmo transactions seem to get messed up. I will enter (a day prior for example) an upcoming Venmo transaction and when the account data downloads I end up with the Venmo transaction I entered and cleared (all by itself) but I also end up with the same Venmo transaction in the downloaded transactions window (with the word Match) and then I end up with TWO Venmo transactions—the one I entered the day before (cleared not by me but automatically) and then a "generic" Venmo transaction that is also cleared once I select Accept.

@joturnage does the Venmo transaction have a reminder?
