Fidelity Issue Related to CTP-15030?

Not actually sure if this is what CTP-15030 is referring to. It is a pretty stupid human error bug IMO.

When setting up a new account, you get the following screen.

This should be SPAXX I think, but definitely not FXAIX (Fidelity's S&P 500 Index Fund). So if say to track as a security and you transfer cash into the account, say $60k, it will show a transaction of buying 60k shares of FXAIX at $1 in Quicken with a current value of > $14m..... I am notifying Fidelity of this as well, but would be nice to have both side addressing it.

More info needed. Please do TOOLS, Security List and after checking "Show Hidden Securities" is FXAIX shown?

If so, what's shown as the CUSIP ID and TYPE for the security?

Does this security show when you log into Fidelity's website?

So you own SPAXX? On that security list, what's shown as the CUSIP and Type for it?

And, you're right … since FXAIX isn't a MMF, you shouldn't be getting this.

I already disconnected the account, deleted the purchase that was created for my cash balance and reconnected/changed my selection to the "recommended" (which is not my preferred). I do have FXAIX in a different, 401k account in Quicken that is not held with Fidelity, but do not have it in any subaccount at Fidelity associated with this ID. The screenshot is of a Quicken popup that informed me that cash would be assigned to the security FXAIX. I cannot edit that popup or select the security, it is just patently wrong there. I literally put the cash in yesterday and it cleared today, so the amount is a cash balance that hasn't been swept yet into a cash fund yet. Below is a copy of my security details in quicken. In the Security List it shows a cusip that is not on the specific security details tab/menu:

Just confirmed, it should be using FCASH for the cash balance, not SPAXX. This is Fidelity's default cash sweep fund. So the error is that Quicken classified the cash in the account as FXAIX instead of FCASH at account set up.

There's absolutely no reason why Q would have classified a "Large Cap Stock Fund" (per the description that you provided) as cash.

    Keep looking for the cause.

Not sure what "keep looking for the cause" means. I provided screen caps of Quicken popups that show that Quicken is assigning the Fidelity S&P500 fund to cash transactions instead of a Fidelity Cash sweep fund.. Quicken needs to debug this. Are you telling me I have a user selected option that is doing this?!? Tell me where that user option is and I would be happy to change it.
