CC501 on all accounts

I have a Venmo account that is updated via one step update along with all my other accounts. I have over 20 accounts that get updated via one step update.

Every time I run one step update, I have to do a 2 step authentication for Venmo, which is annoying, but not the problem. If that could be eliminated, that would be great. My problem is, if I get distracted and don't provide the 2 step authentication in time, NONE of my accounts get updated.

I receive a CC501 error for EVERY account. I can understand an error for my Venmo account, but not all of them. Then, the problem gets worse. After this happens, I can't run a successful One Step Update until the next day. It's as if I'm locked out of One Step Update. None of this happens when I complete the 2 step authentication. Every account downloads, and I'm able to run another One Step Update, without a problem.

    Hello @Mike Brugler,

Thank you for sharing your experience. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information:

    • When did you first notice this issue?
    • Was there anything that happened around the same time, such as a computer/program update or crash?
    • What do you see when the authentication with Venmo isn't done in time?
      • For example, does the prompt vanish and the CC-501 errors appear?
    • Is there anything, other than waiting a day, that allows the One Step Update to succeed?
      • For example, does Help>Refresh Sign in… correct the issue?
    • When subsequent One Step Updates fail, do you see the same CC-501 errors?
      • If not, then what do you see?

I look forward to your response!
