Allow a single customer to rent multiple units

I run a storage rental property and many times, customers have more than 1 unit rented. There is currently no way to assign multiple units to one customer without adding a suffix to the name, which defeats the idea of renting to a single customer. They end up with multiple statements, and I can't apply the payment across all storage units.

There is a work around using customer invoices and jobs, but I would like to use the functionality of the rental property manager.
