Unable to sign-in from the application (desktop). Software did an update prior to attempted sign-in w/o a problem. No problem reaching or using Quicken site via browser. Rebooted windows (Win11) and reset password. nothing works - is there a known problem?

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To help troubleshoot, I checked our internal tools, and can see it's showing an invalid credentials error. I can see that you did successfully change your password, and it worked on the website, but you got the same bad credentials error in your Quicken file.
To troubleshoot this issue, first, wait a few hours (too many failed login attempts can temporarily lock the account). Next, reset your Quicken password. To reset the password, please follow the instructions from our article on forgot password/resetting password:
1. On the Quicken ID login screen, click Forgot your password? below the Sign In button.
2. Enter your Quicken ID, then click Send Code.
3. Next, enter the 6-digit verification code.
4. Enter a new password. Then click Change Password.
