Error message on Password length

I have both a T Rowe price mutual fund account and a brokerage account. I access both of them on the T Rowe Price website with the same password.

On Quicken download, this password works for mutual fund account but not brokerage account. On brokerage account download, I get error message that PW can't be longer than 10 characters per TRP. WRONG!

Is anyone else having this issue? Do you have a work around?

    • When did you first notice this issue?
    • Was the account previously connected and able to update without any problems?
    • Is the password stored in the password vault in your Quicken file?
