This just repeats dozens of nearly identical threads that are quickly closed with no resolution or explanations:
- From Bills & Income, user selects add a reminder.
- User selects online Bill.
- Quicken retrieves its list of 100s of billers.
- The user selects the correct biller.
- Quicken presents him with a detailed list of fields that take least a few minutes to fill out with account numbers, phone numbers, email addresses, street address, etc.
- User enters submits the form with all the information.
- Quicken says it cannot retrieve the list of billers that it retrieved in step 3, and Quicken tells the user to try again later.
The last step is just a hoax. Quicken will always say that it cannot retrieve the list of billers that it had seconds earlier retrieved in order for user to choose the correct biller.
This does not occur with all online billers. But with some it seems to be reproducible. I understand that there can be problems with individuals. I don't understand what the excuse could be for requiring the user to keep reentering the same personal phone, email, street address, account no. etc. on every retry attempt. And I don't understand why nearly identical threads on this are all being quickly closed. It would be more efficient for the community to have a single thread for unresolved issues like this.
